Photos not showing on event list

Hi there, please can you tell me how I can get photos to appear on the list of up and coming events page please?

Hey there barnesmusicfestival. Unless I’m misunderstanding your question, this should occur if you add featured images to your event listings. Have you tried this and find it’s not showing them as expected? Or have I misunderstood your question?

Hi Rob, Thats exactly right but I cant see the button to add my featured image. Please can you give me instructions or send a screen shot?

So I’m wondering if your theme actually supports featured images (“post thumbs”)?

If it does not then this may not be available … one way to check would be to see if the Featured Image meta box – this is a small grey box normally found on the right hand side of the page, post and event editor screens – is present for regular posts and pages.

Does that help/shed any light?

The theme has featured images on all pages and on all blogs but not the events entries which uses your software. How can we activate the featured image box on your events pages?

OK – within the event editor are you able to enable this using the Screen Options pulldown?

Unfortunately there is no Featured Image box when i click the Screen Options tab… any ideas how we can enable this?

To confirm though, do you find this is present for pages and posts? If so, does switching your theme to a default one such as Twenty Thirteen resolve this (just so we can figure out what’s causing the problem)?

Can you link us to a downloadable .zip containing your theme? Posting it on Dropbox, Droplr or a similar service – or just uploading it to your WordPress site – is one way of doing this.

Thanks barnesmusicfestival. With your theme in place featured images work as expected – so I’m wondering if we can revisit the basic troubleshooting steps just to confirm that you followed them in the entirety:

– Please ensure all of your Modern Tribe plugins are up-to-date
– Deactivate all other plugins
– Switch to a default, unmodified theme: Twenty Twelve or Twenty Thirteen are good choices
– Now test to see if the problem remains

Does that resolve this at all? If so, can you reactivate everything one-at-a-time, testing at each stage to see if the issue has returned?

I have tried all of this and there is still no box to add a featured image. Could i send you the WP login to see for yourself please?
