Page Titles Running Into Each Other

So I think I’ve gotten most of the issues ironed out but I’m still struggling with a page title issue. Right now, I have a few pages like this: http://www.galano.org/meetings/today/ where the page title runs into the “base” page title.

I’ve been able to find a workaround by modifying the event template like this week view: http://www.galano.org/meetings/ but I’m not seeing where to make the appropriate changes for month, day and list view.

Any suggestions?

Could you clarify what is the ‘page title’ and ‘base page title’? From what I can see on your ‘today’ page everything looks great.

Hi Casey – Take a look at the page title up on the browser tab. It has the site title but then just runs into the page title. See what I mean?

Sorry I missed that! I should have looked closer there.

It looks like the two strings are flipping. I’ll ask a dev, but I’m fairly confident this is a problem with the theme. (don’t want to pass blame though, I’ll ask a dev to see if there is a fix)

What theme are you using?

I am using Trades theme (http://themeforest.net/item/trades-multipurpose-business-wordpress-theme/7623325). Normally I would think its a theme issue but it seems to only happen with Modern Tribe.

Hello jareddegnan,

Can you try switching your theme to Twentythirteen, to see if the problem persists? If it goes away this is a conflict with your theme.

Also, are you using any SEO plugins?
