ParticipantHello,
I just noticed on our site that events are not showing in chronological order when in Month View. This happened right after updating to Events Calendar Pro 4.3.2. I see on your forum that someone else was having the exact same problem a day ago: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/events-in-month-view-not-chronological/
They figured out that the issue for them was due to the Simple Custom Post Order plugin, however, I have never used that plugin on our site.
I hope you can help me with this. Please let me know if you require any additional information.

MemberHi there Sheryar,
Thanks for getting in touch with us on this!
Apparently a bug was introduced in the just released maintenance release regarding sticky posts. Which are still showing but not in the first place as intended. The order should be as follows:
– Sticky events
– Multiday, if it started on a previous day
– All day events
– OtherCan you please let me know if this is the same you are seeing?

ParticipantGood afternoon:
I am having the same issue. I’ve only added the reoccurring events to my December Calendar and as you can see from the image below, Saturday, December 3rd has two events listed. The one in blue is before the other one (start / end time) but it will not list in that order. both are listed as sticky events as well. This was working before the update I applied this morning. For November, I removed all the reoccurring events and manually put them in the calendar to show the proper listing according to start time in the full calendar grid.
If I backtrack to previous months, they are listed the same way. I thought it might be a ‘theme’ issue but switched to Twenty Ten and it’s the same way.
Any suggestions?

ParticipantHello Nico,
Thanks for replying. I haven’t added any events that are sticky or multi day so the only categories we’re looking at are All Day and Other. It seems that all of my All Day events are showing up as the last entry for the day in Month View as compared to being at the top previously. For Other events, they seem to be randomly ordered regardless of the time and type of event i.e. recurring or single day.

MemberHey folks,
Thanks for adding your voices! After several reports (here and in other threads) we could verify and identify the newly introduced bug.
We are also trying to fit this in the upcoming maintenance release although I still don’t know if it will make due to time constrains. If this is a big issue for you, remember you can always downgrade the plugins to a past version where this was working well.
I’ve linked this thread with the internal bug reported, so you will be noticed when the fix is out.
Sorry once again for the hassle this might cause and thanks for the patience while we get this fixed!
Cheers,

ParticipantThanks Nico. Downgrading the plugins has fixed the issue for now.

MemberThanks adding your case @dte_bali! The fix should be out in the next maintenance release scheduled for net week. This might change due to time constrains but it looks like it will make it đŸ™‚
