Orders needing to be completed manually is actually the expected behavior in the WooCommerce system. 🙂 A quick search through the forum should yield some recommendations for third-party plugins that can help automate the completion process, but what you’re seeing is how WooCommerce transactions work.
That said, once you mark an order completed, the emails and tickets should be dispatched. Would you mind confirming that behavior for me, as I’ve never heard of anyone needing to manually trigger that. (In fact, until recently, we didn’t even have a way to resend the tickets email.)
