    Hi,

Is it possible to do something along these lines – create an event and have multiple dates (tickets) for this one event?

So say I run the same event all year – I don’t want to keep creating the same event but instead add new dates to it?

    Any help would be great

    Thanks
    Ben

    Hi Ben,

Great question! Event Calendar PRO includes the feature to create recurring events. In other words, that would allow you to create the same ongoing event.

However, Event Tickets Plus does not support recurring events at the moment. It is something we are working on but, in the meantime, limits things in such a way that the tickets created for the parent event in the recurring series is the ticket stock for all events in the series.

Sorry for the bad news, but does this at least help answer your question? Please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Geoff

    Hi Geoff,

Thank you – do you know what the time frame for this feature? It may be a deal breaker with my current setup – I am going to have a think – see if i can come up with a solution as your products cover everything else I need 🙂

Good question. I don’t have a solid timeframe for when tickets will be able to support recurring events, but we are aiming for it to be included in our 4.2 release. We’re still scoping out that release and things could certainly change between now and then but that’s the hope at the moment.

I see you had marked this thread as Resolved so I’ll go ahead and close it–feel free to open a new thread if any other questions come up and we’d be happy to help. 🙂

    Cheers,
    Geoff
