ParticipantHello,
I’ve got a project I’m working on now that will be offering two different ticket types per timeslot.
Here are the details.
They will be offering these two ticket prices:
$15 p/h per session ages 5 & up
$7.50 p/h per session 5 & underThese are the session times:
Friday June 26 – 3.30pm, 5.30pm, 7.30pm
Saturday June 27 – 9.30am & 11.30am
Sunday June 28 – 9.30am, 11.30am, 1.30pm, 3.30pm
Monday June 29 – 9.30am, 11.30am, 1.30pm
Tuesday June 30 – 9.30am, 11.30am, 1.30pmIs it possible using your tickets plugin to have different timeslots on the same day, and if so how i.e. is each time slot setup as a different event.
If the customer wants to have the two age group tickets, but a maximum of 100 children per event, how can this be done?
Look forward to your reply.

ParticipantHowdy Jason,
What you want is definitely possible. You can would need to create 14 events, each with two tickets each. And you can specify in each ticket description which age group they are for.
Currently our plugin does not allow you to have a single event with multiple time slots. It is a feature we are working to build, but it won’t be ready for a while. But, do you think the above would work?
Does that all make sense? Will that work for you? Please let us know.
Cheers!

ParticipantYes that sounds good. My client needs a solution where you can have the two age groups per session, and a maximum of 100 tickets can be sold for that session i.e. if there are 60 tickets booked for one age group, then only 40 are to be available for the other one etc.
Let me know 🙂

ParticipantThat is possible with Eventbrite, and our Eventbrite Tickets tie-in. If you create or edit the event on the Eventbrite website, you can set the total Event Capacity setting. So set that up to 100, and you are good. You can still limit the number of available for each ticket if you’re so inclined, say you a maximum of 50 kids, or perhaps a max of 75 adults, you can do that as well. Or you can set them both to 100, and allow your event to fill up with any variety of tickets.
Cheers!
