ParticipantI’m a bit worried about the reporting that The Events Calendar offers. I’m not finding any way for an ‘organizer’ to see a list of attendees. I’ve been on the forums for a half hour and can’t find any way for non-admins to view the sales for their event.

MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins.
The plugin is setup to show the attendees list to anyone that can edit events. There is no read only option right now to view attendees information.
If you would like to request that feature please head to our UserVoice Page and add your own or upvote that feature as they will increase the chances of it being added to a future version.

Participant“So just to clarify, there is no way for organizers to see a list of purchases or attendees without having editor access to the WP Dashboard or unless I (the admin) manually send them a report?”
I feel like we’re missing something here. I feel like there is no way someone who submits an event (front end user) doesn’t have access in their account to a dashboard (non wp dashboard) that shows them their event, the people who bought/rsvp’d/etc.
I swear I read it somewhere also where the organizer would be able to send a message to all those attending within their account to keep them posted on their event. What am I missing! 🙂
We saw this add on from EDD but we’re hoping we don’t have to modify. Thanks so much!

MemberHi,
Unfortunately, we do not have a feature as you describe for the Organizers.
We are working on expanding Community Events to enable people to create tickets with events they submit. With that we would give access to the Organizer then to do as you describe.
For now that is not a feature we have and I am not sure when that product will be released.
That link for EDD is an interesting product, but not something we support and would most likely have to be modified as all our ticketing plugins enable you to only create tickets in the event itself and not through the eCommerce Product creation. We do this so that the tickets are directly attached to an event.
Cheers
