    Hi
I’m using Yoast Seo and default “Week view” on the Events Calendar with no title showing. Why is this not working?

    mending,
Sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. While we can’t provide direct support the Yoast plugin, you can customize the titles that are displaying on specific events pages by pasting the following snippet into your theme’s functions.php file and customizing to fit your needs: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/cef90cffb87a99eaab5f

Note the comment at the top of that snippet. Since you’re using Yoast, you’ll want to be using the ‘wpseo_title’ filter to customize your page titles. Give that a shot and let me know if it does the trick. Thanks! 🙂

    Hi Casey
That did actually work. But why is this fix needed? Why doesn’t ECP not support Yoast SEO by default as most themes and plugins does?

Great question! This is actually due to the fact that our plugin uses virtual pages (similar to other plugins like Shopp), which Yoast doesn’t work with.

Since it looks like you’re all set here, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.

By the way, if you have a minute or two, we would love it if you’d write a few words for us here: http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/the-events-calendar?filter=5

    Thanks in advance. 🙂

    Cheers,
    Casey
