No Comments shown on single event pages

I wondered that it is not possible to leave a comment on event pages in single view.
I checked the single-event.php file but I coulnd’t find anything suspicious.
I tested the condition output and the results are:

get_post_type() => tribe_events
tribe_get_option( ‘showComments’,’no’ ) => 1

Bu the call of comments_template() gets no output there.

I found the tribe_fix_comments patch here in the forum, but adding the snippet in functions.php has no different result.

Sorry you are hitting difficulties here.

Can I ask you to visit Events → Settings → General and ensure Enable Comments is enabled: if it is already enabled, disable it – save the changes then re-enable and save again.
