Need to purge events

I have 20,000 events in my calendar and would like to purge them so that I can start fresh and get the calendar running more efficiently. Is there a way to delete all of my events besides doing it manually page by page in the back end? When I try to do it manually in the back end with 250 events per page (or even with 100 per page) I get errors.

I have the same issue…I would like past events to go away without having to delete them manually. We have events each year with the same name. When I put the new one in, the slug will display -2 since the old event is still there, somewhere.

Hey folks,

Thanks for reaching out to us on this. While we don’t have a utility or additional plugin to do this there are many good ones that take care of this task. One of them is Bulk Delete plugin, which seems suitable for the work.
