Navigation not working in list view ajax

I am submitting this as per request from Tribe Events support rep Nico Santos’s request. Since I posted a comment to someone else’s post with the same title.

The Next and Previous Events links stopped working in List View after the last update (3.11.2 and 3.11.1 PRO). Both of the links show the following href value “http://domain/events/list/”. I am not sure if that’s how it is meant to be.

Hey Miah and sorry for the trouble here!

Is there a link you can share where I can see the issue? That would be a super help so I can look for any obvious red flags off the bat.

Also, do you have any customizations in place? For example, have you modified any of the calendar templates or have a folder in your theme directory called tribe-events? We’ve recently deprecated some functions and I want to make sure those aren’t the root of the issue.

Last (but definitely not least), does the navigation continue to fail when switching to a default WordPress theme, like Twenty Fifteen? Just want to make sure there isn’t a direct conflict with the theme that would tip us off.

Let’s start there and see what we find. 🙂

All very good questions.

1. Can I share a link?
Unfortunately, the feature is in our local server. We plan to put a staging website on a remote server soon but not right away.

2. Also, do you have any customizations in place?
Yes, we do have minor customizations, mostly for look and feel and layout. There are copies of a few (about 4 – 5) template files in the tribe_events directory in our theme.

Should we copy the latest files from your source and attempt to re-apply the changes?

3. does the navigation continue to fail when switching to a default WordPress theme?
The feature does start working if we switch to a default theme (no tribe_events folder).

After your questions and my last response, we compared the views/list/nav.php file from your latest update with our themes copy of the file (from an older update) and imported the new pieces of code found in your latest view. That resolved this particular problem.

The Next and Previous links are now working.
