Monthly view missing…many problems-would like to reinsall..

I’m not sure what happened between upgrading the event calendar and upgrading headway,but the full calendar view is no longer in place. I’d like to reinstall the event calendar and event calendar pro to see if that fixes the problem. How do I go about doing this? (need access to the pro module to do a direct install)

Hi d20games,

As always, please backup (and know how to restore the backup!) before doing anything.

In this case you might want to use something like a maintenance mode plugin to protect the site while you work – then remove all relevant plugin files/directories and simply upload them afresh.

You can access the PRO plugin in the Accounts → Downloads page – hope that helps, but please be aware that currently we offer very limited support for integration with Headway.

What maintenance mode plugin do you like?

I don’t personally have any particular favourites, but the WordPress plugin directory is a good place to look for one – you could try a few and read up on the reviews to try and get a feel for which will work best for you.
