ParticipantHi everyone,
My installation just updated to 4.8.2 and I’m now experiencing a blank monthly calendar page along with some javascript errors. The events still show up in list view.I’m experiencing this issue in multiple browsers (screenshot attached)
I was viewing the calendar a few hours ago before the auto update and it appeared to be working as expected.
Unless the conflict is on my end it may be related to the recent update.
I have not yet disabled other plugins or reverted to a default theme.
Thanks,

ParticipantTo clarify I’m referring to today’s WordPress security update to 4.8.2
I quickly reverted to the TwentyFourteen theme and the error persisted.
I’m currently reviewing my plugins to see if the conflict is somehow related to another plugin.

ParticipantWe too have the same issue. A few hours ago it was fine, then after the auto update of WP, the month view does not show events. List view is working fine though.

ParticipantI’ve done some testing and can confirm that this bug is not related to the active theme or a conflict with another plugin. WP 4.8.1 with other plugins disabled, using one of the twenty* themes: events are visible in month view.
Update to 4.8.2 and events no longer show in month view. It’s likely related to the hardening of $wpdb->prepare() mentioned in the WP changelog.

ParticipantSame issue seen on two separate sits. Switching to List view as default as a work around.

ParticipantI tested out a fresh Desktop Server instance and had no luck. (screenshot attached) Only my calendar plugins and the TwentySixteen theme are running in these screenshots.
Modern Tribe’s Demo site seems to be working on 4.8.1 when I checked the source code at
http://wpshindig.com/I hope this helps.

MemberHi All!
So sorry about the conflict. Last night our team announced The Events Calendar 4.5.12.3 is now available, which resolves an issue related to the display of events in the default Month View. This issue (https://core.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/41496) was introduced with WordPress version 4.8.2 and impacts all previous versions of The Events Calendar–all users are encouraged to update as soon as possible. No other changes were made to any other areas of the plugin, and we apologize to anyone who might have been affected by this issue.

Please update and let us know if this resolves your issues.
Thanks

ParticipantConfirmed fixed. Nice work, thanks. I have to admit I did not expect such a quick fix from you guys.

MemberHey Troy
When the issue is as widespread as our most used plugin and the conflict occurs because of WordPress core, well – I’m impressed at just how fast our devs were able to ship as well! They were racing into action as soon as we detected that. That could’ve been a much more widespread issue, but I think we caught most of our users ready to update at the same time they updated WP core and hopefully slipped under their radars for issues.
Thanks
