Modifying the default registered user to custom type

Hi Modern Tribe Support Team,
Thank you so much for your help with the variety of questions I have posed. I am now hoping to modify the default user that is registered from “subscriber” to a custom type I have created that merges abilities from our theme and your products. Is there any hints your team may be able to provide?

Thanks for reaching out, and know that we’re always glad to help when we can! 😀 When users register on your site, it uses the WordPress General settings to determine what role users get (screenshot). So, if you just change that to the new role that you created, then all new users will be assigned the role that you’ve created.
