Mini calendar

Hey guys,
Is there a template tag that will allow me to show the calendar widget / mini calendar in any of my custom template files?

Thanks Rob, I did come across that page and I’m using tribe_calendar_mini_grid in a sidebar file I created but it doesn’t seem to be displaying anything. I’m guessing I need to do something more than just wrapping it in PHP tags?

Ah, good question. That’s a bit outside my area of expertise but let me see if Jonah has any ideas. I’ll send this his way for review when he hits his next batch of forum threads tomorrow.

Hey Dale-Anthony, using tribe_calendar_mini_grid() works for me in a page template. You can’t have two instances of it on the same page though, so if you have the calendar widget displayed on the same page there will be a conflict and one of them won’t display anything. Not sure why it’s not working for you otherwise. Is there any code in the source (i.e. its there but for some reason not actually diaplaying)?

Turns out I was actually calling the sidebar template twice which caused the calendar not to show >.<

I have 5 categories, can I use tribe_calendar_mini_grid() to show events of any particular category?
