Loop for posts divided by months & filter empty days

Hi all,

I’m trying to create a custom display for my site that functions in the same way as the feed below the slider in the theme below. I’m sure it can be done using the code from table.php, but I’m not sure how I would strip out the days when an event doesn’t occur.
