Harold
ParticipantI just found out that most of my links to a single event is going to PAGE NOT FOUND????
It’s missing the date stamp at the end of the URL???
This one is working fine: http://www.nederweert24.nl/event/openstelling-tuinpark-lamershof-te-weert/2013-08-21/
This one is not working: http://www.nederweert24.nl/event/informatieavond-borstvoeding-in-sjg-weert/
I don’t know why the date is not in the first URL anymore?—–
If I make a new event its giving an URL without the date, and if I take the permalink from the posting it’s still not showing?August 16, 2013 at 10:16 am #60736Rob
MemberHey Harold. Thanks for the note here, and apologies for the inconvenience you’ve faced so far.
The date stamp at the end of the URL will only be added when a recurrence pattern is created, to distinguish between the various entries in that recurrence pattern. For standalone/one-time events, though, there is no date stamp.
That said, it looks like the issue you’ve faced here is independent of that…and as I’m seeing some of those “1970s” dates that indicate a broader problem, I think something else is at play. Can you check if one of these two related threads help point you in the right direction:
1) https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/another-1970s-bug/
2) https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/event-date-is-not-working-at-all-with-my-theme/And let me know from there? Thanks so much for your support and patience so far!

ParticipantWhere can I find the “datepicker”?
I use Genesis Framework.August 20, 2013 at 12:39 pm #61901Rob
MemberHey Harold! You’re referencing the plugin’s own datepicker, right? If so – have you checked out datepicker.php (in the admin-views folder for PRO)? Let me know if that’s not what you’re looking for or if I’m misunderstood. Cheers.

MemberExcuse me, I misspoke. It’s the admin-views folder for core (not PRO).

Participant@rob What should I change? Should I change the name of “date picker.php” in the “the-events-calander” / “admin-views” folder?

MemberHarold, apologies for the delay. The forum remains the best and fastest place to seek help though – because your case is slightly complicated it did take a little longer to get back to you (plus we’ve been experiencing high volumes of demand for support).
I think the datepicker issue may not actually be relevant in this case. What I’d like to know instead is:
A) If this happens with a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Twelve
B) If you deactivate all non-Modern Tribe plugins (in addition to using a default theme) if the problem still persists
C) If you are using any translation plugins, such as WPML or ES Translation
If you could clarify the above we can try to get to the bottom of this. Isolating the source of the conflict is of course the first step.
Thanks for your support and patience so far!
