Letting Joe Public add an Event

This can’t be the first time someone has asked this, but my search logic doesn’t fit with SE protocol and there is no direct answer to this in the Tutorial info. So….

What is the minimum permission of a registered user on my site to post an event? Is there a place, or way, to make it easier for Joe Public to enter an event. I would like to keep it open, subject to restricting this later on, but start by trusting my audience and only preventing the addition of events once they have proven unreliable. How do I do that?

Never mind…that’s what the Community Events add on is. Duh!

That looks like a no brainer. Just need to finish formatting the Events Widget and a few other issues and then that will be a “mandatory” add on. 😉
