    Hi Jan,

Thanks for following up once again on this!

Unfortunately this didn’t make it to the MR as it was already in QA phase at the time this came up, and development phase was already closed. I bumped the priority for this fix and also noted your solution for this.

I know this is a bummer and totally get your point, but in this case there’s nothing else I can do to push this forward 🙁

Thanks once again for getting your hands in the code and for sharing your findings here. Hopefully non-skilled users can find this thread and take advantages of your solution.

    Best,
    Nico

This is a significant bug that is actually affecting the Preview capability of other custom post types as well. I definitely would like to request that this bug be fixed a lot sooner than the scheduled November release, especially given the apparent simplicity of the fix.

    Hi Quentin,

Thanks for reaching out and sorry again for the inconvenience this is causing to all folks here.

I see in our product backlog that the fix for this is already developed and will be added to the upcoming maintenance release – which should be out really soon.

Please hold on just a bit more and this will be out,
    Cheers,
    Nico

Hey there! Just a heads up that The Events Calendar 3.12.3 and The Events Calendar PRO 3.12.2 shipped just minutes ago and include a fix for the issue you reported here. Please do check it out and make the update!

Thanks for your patience and support while we worked this out. 🙂

    Geoff
