I installed this plugin same as all the others and didn’t see any addition to the menu- I then searched and read that there is an unusual procedure for activation. I have deactivated uninstalled and reinstalled but am still only seeing Calendar Pro in the list of plugins and no menu item. I didn’t find a mention of this in troubleshooting, so what do I do now?
I’m guessing that this must happen quite a lot, until you put big red sticker on it warning of the unusual installation procedure.

    Hi!

I’m sorry this has caused confusion – though I’m not quite sure what you mean when you refer to the unusual activation procedure. In general, you must have The Events Calendar installed and activated as a prerequisite (because Events Calendar PRO operates as an extension of that plugin, rather than as a standalone plugin).

So long as that’s in place, you should indeed be able to upload and activate Events Calendar PRO like any other plugin.

Does that help at all / are you still experiencing difficulties here?

    Thanks Barry,
I installed before reading anything, then couldn’t find this post to tell you I was OK.
    Cheers

Closing this thread as it’s been quite a while – of course if we can help with anything else please do create a new thread. Thanks!
