individual event view file name & path?

i want to add navigation to the top of the sidebar (event categories to make it easier for ppl to navigate the events).
I am running a child theme with directory themes/Avada/tribe-events
What file do i copy there to make changes to the sidebar of individual events?
i tried a couple and was not able to see the comments i added to the source.

Hi Jan,

This part is handled by Avada already. I beileve it is in this file:

wp-content/themes/Avada/templates/sidebar-1.php

Please refer to the Avada documentation on how you can create an override for that. Likely you will need to create the same file in the child theme folder and make your adjustments there, but I’m not 100% certain on this, as I haven’t worked with Avada that much yet.
