ParticipantAfter upgrading the Events Calendar Pro from 3.3 to 3.6.1, I’m experiencing an issue with recurring events. It seems that all events in the series are linking to the first event in the series – not the specific event. This is happening on the Calendar view as well as the view that lists all events in the series.
I’m linking to a few screenshots to illustrate the problem I’m having.

ParticipantI just noticed from the screenshots, that the end time for all the events is listed as June 10th @ 9am.
For example, the June 17th event has it’s start/end time as:
June 17, 2014 @ 8:00 am – June 10, 2014 @ 9:00 am
when it should be:
June 17, 2014 @ 8:00 am – June 17, 2014 @ 9:00 am

MemberWhat a strange problem – I’m sorry you’re hitting this.
I can’t replicate locally right now – but I do see you already tried deactivating all other plugins and switching to a default, unmodified theme which is great. Just for the avoidance of doubt, can you confirm if that impacted on this problem at all?
Additionally, does it only seem to affect recurring events created pre-update and if you create a fresh recurring event with a similar pattern to one of your affected events does the same thing continue to happen?
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Barry,
Disabling plugins and switching to a Twenty Fourteen did not alleviate the problem.
Yes, it only affects recurring events created pre-update. Single events are fine and recurring events created post-update are also fine.
However, If I edit and save a recurring event that was created pre-update, that series no longer has the issue. All links for that series are correct.

MemberHow many do you have to update? Would it be viable to update each of them, or are there too many for that to be practical?

ParticipantBarry,
I spoke too soon. It seems that all the events in that series are now appearing as single events. They are no longer recurring.June 12, 2014 at 8:05 pm #222036Barry
MemberOK – is this a recent change and did you do anything/did anything in your installation change prior to this occuring?
