Hi guys, the Spanish translations of many items in the plug-in could be improved. Do you work with volunteer translatros to translate the content? I am professional translator myself and I would be willing to collaborate to improve the Spanish translations (also for my own benefit of course as a paid subscriber!).

    Let me know.

    Hey Omar,

Thanks for your interest in our plugins and improving the quality of our translations!

We do have http://translations.theeventscalendar.com where you can update translations and submit them for approval. From there you can download the latest versions of approved translations.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

Hey Josh, thanks for replying. I’ve gone all the way through to the panel where it shows the content to be translated but it looks like I need separate login credentials to be able to log in into this section to add translations.

How do I go about doing that?

Also, one thing I’ve noticed is that, although some translations may be correct, because of the variables the order in which they appear in Spanish can be incorrect (they need to be flipped around). Is this fixable?

    I await your response.
    cheers

    Hi Omar!

    I’m pinch-hitting for Josh while he’s out on a much-deserved vacation. 🙂

You’re absolutely right: you do need a login to make contributions to the site which you can create right here.

And, yes, you can absolutely flip variables while you’re submitting new translations.

We also have a guide here that goes over the translation submission process much more in depth, in case it helps. 🙂

Will this help get you started? Please let me know and thanks so much for your help with translations!

    Cheers,
    Geoff
