How to show description field in PRO Widget

Hi,
Anyone in here capable of helping us out on this little issue?
We would like to be able to sho the description (the text from the TinyMCE field) on the Events Calendar Pro Widget that has a calendar with a list underneath it.

I’ve been able to remove venue from it, but I’m unable to find out how I show the description. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Kristoffer,

Sounds like you’re already at home with template overrides. What I’d recommend then is overriding and customizing pro/widgets/mini-calendar/single-event.php (which you may have already altered) and add something like this at an appropriate point:

<?php echo tribe_events_get_the_excerpt() ?>

Works perfect. Was exactly was I was looking for. Tried to find it in the doscumentation, but I couldn’t find it. Thank you!
