How to create a "page" for events calendar or list view?

I am using a theme (Woo Themes “One Pager”) that incorporates all page/post content onto one (home) page via widgets and custom menu links. I need to incorporate the full TEC calendar/listings on to this home page but don’t know how to do it, as it doesn’t exist on a “page” that can be accessed via a widget. How do I create a “page” that shows the full calendar/listings?

I need the full view calendar/listings to fill the page (full width) just as they do in the default Events view, so i don’t think the TEC widgets provided will work.

I’ve been searching the forum and have seen a similar question asked before but not for the current version of the plugin, and not with a definitive solution. I’m not fluent in PHP. I can copy and paste with complete directions, however. Thank you very much!

Hi guys,

At this time, there is no built in way to add your events list (or any other view) to a page. It may be possible to achieve with some custom coding, but that’s really out of our scope of support. You might check out this thread to get you started.

Some day we would like to write a tutorial to help out, but we are currently devoting all of our support resources to the forums to help folks transfer from 2.x to the new 3.x builds.

I’d encourage you to vote for this feature on our UserVoice page. The more interest we get, the more likely we are to tackle this complicated addition. Best of luck with your projects!

Thanks Leah…I appreciate the effort and the link, but not being a developer it’s pretty much Greek to me, and again, I’m looking to incorporate the whole events list on a page. I realize you all are busy but my searches turned up users’ requests for this feature going back 3 years–essentially the lifetime of this plugin. Other helpful users tried to cobble together solutions, with varying, and now outdated, results. I’d really like to see this option explained as part of the current Themer’s Guide, if it can’t be built-in, right now.

We do our best to add the features our users are asking for, but it’s true that there are still plenty of things we haven’t gotten to. I’d love to be able to tell you that we can add a fail-proof option to the Themer’s Guide right away, but we are a small company with a limited support team. We’re working hard to help folks get their calendars updated to 3.0 and our bandwidth is concentrated in the forums at this time. I’m sorry we can’t be of more help at this time, and I appreciate your understanding and support.
