Participant*NOTE* I am not affiliated with this plugin other then being a Pro license purchaser and VERY happy client. Happy enough that I felt I should spread the love to the rest of the Modern Tribe community!
Check out this plugin:
And the Pro version:
This plugin (especially the pro version) is a great automated money generator if you utilize TEC for selling tickets and have an email list (especially MailChimp). While still a relatively new plugin, it already provides an impressive amount of time savings in being able to quickly compile and save category specific event lists for automatic connection to MailChimp’s RSS to Email feed feature (see http://mailchimp.com/features/rss-to-email/).
For those of you that don’t know what this means, picture targeted event lists (based on TEC Pro Event Categories) directly connected to automatic weekly emails for your specific mailing list segments. Scheduled, automated event notification = automated revenue, as your patrons are notified regularly of the activities you have available for them and purchase tickets.
This plugin is a literal godsend for those of us that publish dozens of events a week. And to top it all off, Brian’s support is incredible. If you publish events, use an email mailing list (which you really should, if you run events), then you should really, and I mean REALLY, check out this plugin!

ParticipantThanks for sharing Mike. I am going to give this a test myself and see what kind of support we can offer for this sort of tie-in. I really appreciate the tip!
Cheers!

ParticipantI can attest to the quality of this plugin and the great communication and flexibility the developer has. I have implemented this on my site and have an automated RSS feed shoot out event emails each Monday for the upcoming week. It is a customized HTML template in Mailchimp populated by the feed from the plugin, which is extremly flexible and customizable with the ability to save multiple templates and setup as many feeds as you need..
It works flawlessly and has a huge amount of tags to display what information you was to show. We are very, very happy as this has automated the weekly email process for us big time.
As the original poster mentioned, the developer (Brian Hogg) is amazing and super easy to work with. Huge thumbs up.
