Hiding Event Description in Map/Photo All Modes

Hi All

It might sound silly, But I’m kinda lost in understanding the file structure and file hierarchy for TEC. On Events page, for Map and Photo mode, I want to hide event description. Only Event photo and date/time would do my work. Can you pls suggest, which file to be changed for that and where.

Hi Nitin,

Our Themer’s Guide explains how to safely override and customize our templates but, for example, to remove the description from list view you would override list/single-event.php and basically locate and remove the following line:

<?php the_excerpt() ?>

You may of course want to remove some of the surrounding HTML markup, too, depending on your ultimate goal. Does that help at all?
