    I recently bought the Calendar Pro since I originally had the free version. I wanted to be able to have recurring events without having to consistently post same events on our church calendar. Now after I deactivated the free version and uploaded the new version, I get this: “To begin using Events Calendar PRO, please install the latest version of The Events Calendar.”
    I wanted to get this started asap! How in the world am I supposed to get the Pro updated version? Please help me. I hope this is not going to be complicated. Thanks.

    The essence of your issue comes from what you said in your thread:
    “Now after I deactivated the free version and uploaded the new version

    Do not deactivate or delete the Free version of the plugin – this is more the “Core” version of the plugin, and Events Calendar PRO is an “add-on” to this core version. In other words, you need both active.

    Let us know if you can activate the free version and if it helps doing so!
