I have discovered something a bit weird when it comes to navigate backward using browsers “back button”. My Calendar uses categories, so I have made a drop-down menu on front end, using ‘categories’ in which the visitor can choose the events / areas he/she is interested in.
But when navigating backward using the browser function, something strange happens. The site is in Swedish, gut I will try to walk you through:
This is the site: http://hallahund.se
Go to main (red) menu ‘Aktuella Kurser’ and put your mouse over it.
As an example, choose ‘Allmanlydnad’, which will show all classes in that category
(correct address = http://hallahund.se/kurskalender/kategori/allmanlydnad/)Click on the headline “Allmänlydnad från 6 månader (ALLM5) | Start 2/9, 2013” to read more about the event.
Ok… all set and done… but now, try to go back using browser button, and it will show you all my events, even though the domain address tells you you should be back at the categories for “/kategori/allmanlydnad/”
Anyone know why that is?

MemberHey there hallahund. I just tested this and it looks like the problem you are describing is a browser bug specific to certain versions of webkit. If you try in firefox or ie10 you will see the problem does not occur (let me know if I am wrong).
I wrote a custom history management solution for the plugins ajax. I was aware of this issue with webkit/chrome and had thought i fully patched for it. It is an annoying bug because it behaves differently across versions of chrome/webkit.
I will open a ticket and take a look at this, but am going away for a week next week so it will be a little while until I can get to it.
