GuestHallo Hans-Gerd,

MemberHi Markus,
You’re totally welcome to follow along here while we work on a fix for the issue Hans-Gerd reported. In the meantime, I think it might be best for you to start a new thread if you have any other questions–that will make following up a lot easier and make sure that your questions get answered without getting lost in the current conversation. 🙂
Thanks!

ParticipantHello Geoff,
how to do so? I´m logged in but there is no Button to open a new thread.

MemberHi Markus,
There should be a blue button that says “New Discussion” in the right sidebar at the top of the screen when you view this thread or the main landing page for this forum.
Cheers!

ParticipantHallo Markus,

MemberHi Hans-Gerd,
I asked one of our developers to look into this a little more and it appears that these strings are already translated.
Did you happen to grab a language pack prior to someone providing translations for these strings and that is why they are missing?
Thanks!
GeoffSeptember 26, 2015 at 10:30 am #1008961Hans-Gerd
ParticipantHi Geoff,
definitely not.
I’ve tested again with all current files.
Unfortunately the links you send me produce 404 websites.
I’ve just downloaded the language – files once more from http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects/tribe-events-community/de/default
Sorry, the translation of the strings is still missing.cheers

MemberHi Hans-Gerd,
Sorry for all the back-and-forth here. 🙂
Just to clarify, are you looking in the Community Events translations file or The Events Calendar PRO one?
Even though it would seem that Community Events is correct, it’s actually a PRO feature and would be contained in there–so make sure and please confirm that the updated PRO language pack is installed in addition to the latest Community Events one.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi @Geoff,
Thank you for your patience. It works, in fact, but:
The name of the file in http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects/the-events-calendar-pro/de/default/export-translations?format=mo
has a different name (the-events-calendar-pro-de_DE) than in the directory
wp-content\plugins\events-calendar-pro\lang: tribe-events-calendar-pro-de_DE
This should be changed so that such misunderstandings can be avoided.Cheers
