Hey!
So, I’ve encountered a bug with Filter Bar and WPML. The filters work perfectly on the main language (EN). However, when filtering on other languages, the results often times come up empty even though they shouldn’t. If you refresh the page with the filter parameters still in the URL, the results do show.
I’ve narrowed this down to just WPML and Filter Bar. Removed all other plugins and reverted back to 2014 theme. Even tried a 2015 and 2016 as well.
Has this been encountered before and what is the workaround if any?
Thanks!

First off, I would like to apologize for the delay answering.
We are currently experiencing a higher level of requests than usual. Please rest assured that we are working hard at correcting this situation.
We appreciate your patience while we try to normalize things.Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. What is going on is that our Filter Bar plugin is not yet compatible with WPML.
You can read all about it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support/With that in mind, we are planning on making all of our plugins WPML compatible over time (the next target would probably be Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus).
Alas, I do not have a release date for Filter Bar compatibility at this point. But stay tuned!
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have unfortunately.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

April 19, 2017 at 10:56 am #1271785Geoff B.MemberGood afternoon Jeremy,
Alas there is no workaround available for now.
This is mostly because Filter Bar compatibility with WPML never existed. But, the good news is that we are about to schedule a WPML centric release.
Hopefully, that will get us one step closer to being able to do just that.Best regards,
Geoff B.
