I’m having the same problem as outlined here, however, my theme is only using the body_class function and it does correctly toggle the body classes of “tribe-filters-closed” and “tribe-filters-open” however, the body class does NOT get the “tribe-events-filter-view” class added, thus the display:none on line 111 of the un-minified filter-view.css file doesn’t get triggered. This seems to have just started on our site in development, so I don’t know if it was due to a recent update to the Events Calendar plugin, or some other plugin.

    Hi Noah.

I’m not sure if you meant to put a link on the “as outlined here” text… Regardless, I tested with the latest versions of Filter Bar, Events Calendar PRO, and The Events Calendar and the show/hide is working just fine for me with all other plugins deactivated and using the Twenty Fifteen theme.

Could you try temporarily activating the default Twenty Fifteen theme, and seeing if the issue persists.

If disabling the theme fixes it, we have narrowed the issue down to a theme conflict. Do you have any theme overrides for the Events Calendar? If so could you try disabling them by renaming your [themename]/tribe-events/ folder to ‘tribe-events-bak’. Did that fix it?

If the issue persists in the default Twenty Fifteen theme, then we have a different set of debugging steps. Please keep the Twenty Fifteen theme enabled, and also disable any plugins other than the ones from Modern Tribe to see if that fixes it. If it does, please try re-enabling the plugins one at a time until the issue resurfaces. When it does resurface, can you let me know which plugin caused that to happen?

Additionally, the account you’re logged in as does not have a license for Filter Bar assigned to it.

Sorry Cliff, yes I meant to link to this support request:

    Show/Collapse Not Hiding Filters Correctly

I’ll give the theme change a try. As for the account login, I’m a developer and the filter bar license is attached to a client account, I don’t have their login so I’m using my own.

Thanks for the link and the license info.

I hope the theme switch works.

    Let me know.
