ParticipantWe seem to have a jQuery conflict with Filter Bar and Event Calendar Pro.
When we enable Filter bar we are no longer able to switch views.
With the filter bar activated when I click the View As Options we can’t switch and I get:
jquery.js?ver=1.11.2:4 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘nodeType’ of undefined
m.extend.prop @ jquery.js?ver=1.11.2:4

m.event.add.r.handle @ jquery.js?ver=1.11.2:3I have deactivated all plugins and there is not a plugin conflict.
I switched to TwentyFifteen and it started to work. There appears to be a javascript conflict with the custom theme. Unfortunately, this is an “inherited” website for us and I can’t find the conflict. Can you provide any insight as to what might be causing this problem?
I have checked for conflicting or out of data jQuery enqueues and don’t see any.
I have tried removing the jquery.main.js and other js files all together and that didn’t help. I don’t see where else the conflict could be.Can you help?

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having.
I can help troubleshoot them with you.
I took a look at your site and it appears that you are loading jQuery twice, which could be causing this issue.
I see your theme is doing it and then this plugin: wpmu_dev_maps_plugin
Are you able to turn it off from that plugin and see if that helps resolve the issue?
Let me know.
Thanks

ParticipantBrian,
Thanks for your quick response. I deactivated those plugins, but it did not change the issue.
I don’t see the second jquery load. I see one at line 66, but the rest seem to be plugins and other jquery related files. Can you let me know where you are seeing the other instance loaded?

MemberOk I looked again and maybe I misread it and there is only one copy of jQuery. Sorry for the confusion.
Since you narrowed down the issue to the custom theme can you see about removing parts of the javascript and see if you can narrow down further the coding causing the issue?
