ParticipantHi there, I’m back! So where are we at with this issue? I see there were some emails back and forth with Rob but what is the current status?

MemberHaven’t made any progress. Rob sent me link to version 2.0.3 as I suspect a conflict with 2.0.5 given that the links broke upon the upgrade. I’ve not tried rolling back yet. I welcome your advice? Did you ever get a chance to take a look?

MemberSo, is anyone there working on this?

MemberHey Diane. Jonah is still looking into this and should be able to get you a response today, but we are unfortunately verging on the point where this is near outside the scope of the support we can provide. Given the credentials Jonah has he’ll be able to take a look and respond today.
It is hard for us to provide support on custom template work, though, so if it does turn out that is the cause we may need to refer you to a freelance developer or someone with the bandwidth to fix the issue specifically. We can certainly provide feedback as to bugs with the plugin itself and light integration issues…but given we’re a small team of freelancers we just aren’t in a position to go much deeper than that.
Let’s see what Jonah says. If it turns out that this is not something we can get you much further on, we can explore options and I can refund your purchase price if you think that’s fair. Let’s not call it quits just yet though.

MemberRob, I got this to work, but not really sure how or why. I downgraded to 2.0.3 and the links still didn’t work. I then reverted back to 2.0.5 and they started working… Make any sense to you?

MemberUnfortunately, this trick only worked on one site. ideas?

ParticipantHey Diane,
Sorry about not addressing this earlier. So, which sites are you still seeing the issue on? With the access you provided me, do I have access to those sites?

MemberJonah,
I’ve got this working. Yeah! I’m not really sure why, but they weren’t working so I downgraded to 2.0.3 and they still didn’t work. Discouraged, I reverted back to 2.0.5 again and they worked. I don’t understand what that did, but I’ll take it! Now, I’m working on the category issue on the third site. I’ll post to that thread soon.
Thanks for your help!April 24, 2012 at 5:39 pm #18257Jonah
ParticipantYou’re welcome Diane and I’m glad to hear you got it worked out! Not sure why a downgrade and upgrade would suddenly make things work but I’m glad they did 🙂
