Exclusions not working on recurring events

    Hi,

    I have the events pro calendar and i am trying to add an exclusions to an recurring events but it still seems to be appearing in the calendar?

    Would you be able to let me know how to fix this please.

    Hi Becca,

    Welcome to the forums and sorry for the trouble here!

    This is indeed a known issue. We are still working on it and do not have a resolution yet for it. In the meantime, the only workaround is to create the recurring event and then manually delete the instances you do not want.

    I hope we have a fix soon, but I do not have a timeline when that might happen. I’ll keep you posted here in this thread when I know more.

    Has any progress been made on this? I’ve been tracking this issue for months waiting for a fix. Not sure if it’s just not a priority or if it’s a major bug. But this is one of the reasons I purchased (multiple licenses) and have been anxiously waiting for it to work properly.

    Hi Todd, thanks for chiming in!

    Yes, I see that the ticket for this issue in our system is in testing and is planned for one of our next upcoming releases. We have a release coming out this week and another planned shortly after, so I imagine you will be seeing it soon.

    Hi Jessica and thanks for chiming in!

    We just released 4.0.1 and plan to have this patch included in 4.0.2 which will be out before the end of the month barring any catastrophes.

    I’ll be sure to update this thread when more info is available.

    The ticket for this issue was completed and released in Events Calendar PRO 4.0.3. Please update if you haven’t already and let us know if any other questions come up.

    I’m going to close this thread, but please don’t hesitate to open a new one if you continue to have trouble with recurring event exclusions. And, if that’s the case, please reference this thread and provide us with updated system information and we’d be happy to check it out.
