events not showing the right time of day

My Facebook Events Calendar is not showing the right time of day for events – it seems to be saying 12-3pm for events that start at 8pm. I have deactivated all plugins and also tested with Twenty Twelve but the same problem remained.

Hi jen,

Sounds like it could possibly be a setting in your WordPress installation that might be off. Can you go to your Dashboard area under Settings > Timezone and verify that the time zone is set to your local time?

Please verify that and let me know if it fixes the problem. If it doesn’t do the trick, could you please provide which time zone you have set it to and which time zone you want it to be in?

Hi Julie,

I am having a similar issue. Everything is off by one hour. Went into setting under the dashboard and my timezone in set to New York. All events imported are off for example an event at 8pm imports to be at 9pm. Thanks for your help.

Go ahead and hold off…may have just been a few as part of the first import…I’ll keep checking.
