Events do not appear in blog loop

Once again this appears to be a theme conflict (when I used the 2011 theme this problem went away), I will notify the theme makers of this as well, but it was your suggestion that allowed them to solve my last problem, I’d love your insight.

Though I have the box check, my events are not appearing in the blog loop on my front page. Are there some “typical” conflicts that might cause this problem?
