Yes, I believe we (to be more precise our developer Jessica) were able to resolve it.
I know there were other users out there experiencing something similar so I just want to share what happened behind the scenes, mostly in case it’s of value to others but also so you have a note for your own purposes.
Basically, this piece of code was added to your theme’s functions.php file. The problem (we think) is a limitation within your hosting environment impacting on queries that need a certain number of joins to operate (ie, they need to gather information from numerous different tables) and this should help to mitigate that.
Specific to your environment (@gracebiblechurch) Jessica did note that she was unable to dismiss an admin notice relating to Jetpack that stemmed from her troubleshooting work – but hopefully you found that and were able to resolve it with your super admin privileges.
