ParticipantPlease see: http://newman.tamucc.edu/event/islander-awakening/
Events are showing the details/venue/map as a sidebar. I’m not sure when this started, but I recall the details section showing below the content, not to the side.
I’d really like to restore that styling/format. How can I go about doing that?
FWIW, I’m using the “Tribe Events Styles” for the Default Stylesheet and the “Default Events Template” for the Events Template. I have not installed any new plugins or made any css/internal changes to anything, so not sure what may have triggered the odd format/style.
Thanks.

ParticipantHowdy abarragree,
Good question. I see you are using the Virtue theme. I just checked their changelog, and it looks like on Dev 9th they release version 3.3.9 of that theme. This included a tie-in with our plugin! They basically added a custom theme to make our plugin look at home inside of the theme. One of the things they did was move the details to the sidebar.
http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue/#changelog
You can move the details section by one of the following options:
- Asking the theme author.
- Downgrading the theme to 3.3.8.
- Going into the theme folder and renaming the tribe-events folder to tribe-events-bak.
If I were you I would try option 1. Option 3 is the least desirable. The author would probably be keen to hear your feedback, and also find out why you want to move the section. They might even be considering offering multiple theme options, one with the sidebar and one without. All of this will be up to the theme author though, as I do not even have access to the theme nor an understanding of how precisely to modify that portion of it.
Does that all make sense? Will that work for you? Please let me know.
Cheers!

ParticipantYou are very welcome! We will definitely be here to help with what we can. And if a theme author needs to talk to us directly or needs access to one of our plugins we’re happy to get in touch directly.
Since you marked this resolved I am going to archive it. But if you need anything else feel free to open another topic. Cheers!
