ParticipantIs there a way to make the main calendar month view only display events from a certain category. Here is my calendar http://thecrossingchurch.com/calendar/. Instead of this displaying all of my events I only want it to display one category of events. I also want to keep this URL the same. I named that category “Calendar”.

MemberHi psasser,
Thanks for your post. You can make it show only one category of events with a custom menu link, as described in this FAQ. However, the url would be different. You could potentially have http://thecrossingchurch.com/calendar/ redirect to http://thecrossingchurch.com/events/category/calendar.
Let me know if I can be of further help here.

ParticipantI did see that post already. However when I added that link into the navigation menu it took me to this page http://thecrossingchurch.com/calendar/category/calendar/ (the same one that you posted). However it is in some sort of list view and not in the grid view. I’m not really sure why it looks like that. In the Events > Settings > Display in the admin I only have the month view enabled.

MemberHi psasser,
Thanks for the further info. I was able to recreate the same issue. It’s getting late today, but I’m going to check in with our developers tomorrow about this behavior. I’ll update you tomorrow. Also, could you let me know what theme you’re using?
Thanks,

ParticipantIts actually a custom theme that I developed based off of the thematic framework.

MemberHi psasser,
Thanks for the info. I talked to our devs and they confirmed that this is a plugin-wide issue, regardless of theme. We’re working on a solution and hope to improve the behavior for our next maintenance release. So keep an eye out for the next available update. Thanks for your patience in the meantime.

ParticipantAny idea as to when that next release will be posted? and are you saying that this fix will be in there? Thanks thanks.

MemberHi psasser,
Yes, we are planning to include a fix for this in the next release. That should hopefully be around the end of the month, but that’s definitely not a guarantee. It’s important to us to fix things thoroughly and test them before release, but sometimes that takes longer than expected. Thanks for your patience.
