Events Calendar and Gravity Forms Unite

I am looking to have some development done to create an advanced Gravity Forms function that links a form to The Events Calendar. I was able to find this, courtesy of Anthony Dispezio: http://anthonydispezio.com/blog/gf-ecp-frontend-submission/ , which allows for front end submission of events using Gravity forms. My question is if it is possible using the calendar’s template tags (quick reference: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/ & https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/the-events-calendar-advanced-functions-event-post-type/) to do an ‘availability check’-i.e. when a user selects a time in the form, it runs a Gravity Forms conditional to see if there is an existing event in the selected time?

That sounds possible but complicated and unfortunately we cannot help out with such customizations. You’ll either need to figure it out or hire a developer. Good luck!
