Events are not showing up on page at all

    The Events do not publish on our page and show an infinite wheel turning. http://sactomofo.com/events/
    Any idea how we can fix this, please?

    Hi Sactomofo,

    It looks like you are using the Default Events Template – ordinarily that’s fine but it may not mesh nicely with all themes: can you visit the Events → Settings → Display admin screen and try switching to the Default Page Template – does that help at all?

    No, I tried various settings, but the calendar data will not load. Still perpetual wheel.

    I’m sorry to hear that – can I ask you to switch it to the Default Page Template just now, though (looks like you are still using the Default Events Template) so I can get a better picture of what happens in those circumstances?

    Thanks – it doesn’t look like any content relating to our plugins is showing up under those conditions. This content caught my eye however:

    Join us every Wednesday at River Walk Park in West Sacramento from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. This week’s lineup includes: Drewski’s Hot Rod Kitchen, Bacon MANia, Krush Burger, Happy Cow Ice Cream.

    Can you confirm if you have a page or post containing this piece of text, and does it happen to be a page called Events with a slug of events? If so, can you try either trashing and deleting it or else visit the Events Settings and change the main events slug from events to something else, such as calendar?

    Yes, I deleted the page you referenced. I also changed the settings to calendar. Any further advice?

    Looks like the main events page at http://sactomofo.com/calendar/ is now displaying as expected and I can navigate forwards/backwards – plus single events are accessible and look good – so it all seems to be in order so far as I can see.

    Did you have any further questions/concerns regarding this issue?
