ParticipantA few Eventbrite Plugin pre-sales questions:
- I own v 3.9.3 Events Calendar Pro. Is 3.10 of Eventbrite plugin compatible? Or can I use version 3.9.3 of Eventbrite plugin (and can you make the version thats compatible w/ ECP 3.9.3 available?
- Can the eventbrite importer import ANY eventbrite event? Or JUST the one(s) you create yourself?
- Can you import multiple event ids at the same time? As in put multple event brite id’s separated by comma? Or one import at a time…?

Participant4. If I have an eventbrite affiliate code, can that be part of any ticket links so my imports can give me the sales credit?

MemberHi @efromdc,
Thanks for your interest in Eventbrite Tickets 🙂
I own v 3.9.3 Events Calendar Pro. Is 3.10 of Eventbrite plugin compatible?
I’m afraid not.
Generally the plugins must be kept in sync in terms of the major and minor version numbers matching up so, for example, you can typically use a combination like The Events Calendar 3.10.1 and Events Calendar PRO 3.10 – but could not mix these with Eventbrite Tickets 3.9.
Or can I use version 3.9.3 of Eventbrite plugin (and can you make the version thats compatible w/ ECP 3.9.3 available?
Normally we’d happily facilitate this sort of thing for any of our current license key holders and would consider your request.
However, due to the range of changes and important fixes that have taken place since that release I cannot guarantee we’d do so in this case – realistically, it’s also unlikely we could offer too much support if you chose to remain on an older version of the plugin.
Can the eventbrite importer import ANY eventbrite event? Or JUST the one(s) you create yourself?
It can import most Eventbrite events – so long as they are publicly visible and the creator has not imposed any restrictions.
As you might expect, only those imported events created on your account can subsequently be updated by you via WordPress.
Can you import multiple event ids at the same time? As in put multple event brite id’s separated by comma? Or one import at a time…?
Currently just one at a time – but we’re always happy to accept requests for new features and improvements 🙂
I hope that answers your questions but let me know if I can help with anything else.

ParticipantI dont need the support. I really just want to know since I already have version 3.9.3 of the ECP (the licence expired about a month ago), can I buy the Eventbrite plugin and you supply me w the 3.9.3 version thats compatible w my 3.9.3 ECP?
Again, support isnt necessary.
THX

MemberHi @efromdc,
We’d be reluctant to do so in this case and actually a copy of an Eventbrite Tickets 3.9.x release – while compatible with a matching build of Events Calendar PRO – most likely will be non-functional due to the scale of recent changes in the Eventbrite API.
If you wish to use this plugin, I’d strongly recommend obtaining the most recent version and updating your other event-related plugins to match.

GuestIf I can’t use the 3.9.3 Event brite version w the 393 ECP version due to API changes, then we have no sale as I dont see the point of spending the money to renew ECP which works perfectly fine the way it is.
Im just use my importer to import the eventbrite XML feed.
Thank you for your time.

MemberNo problem – that’s probably a wise decision in this case (though 3.9.3 onwards did introduce changes to work with the new API, there was a need for further updates and so I couldn’t recommend anything earlier than 3.10.1).
In any case, I’ll go ahead and close this topic and if we can help with any other questions please just create a new one.
Thanks again for your interest!
