ParticipantI keep getting an error when entering EventBrite Event ID. The new site I’m developing for them is on my server right now and where I installed the just-purchased EventBrite Ticket add-on at http://abuzzhost.com/chrysali/ and their existing site is http://www.chrysalisfdn.org/.
Only urls I see in their EventBrite account is are below but neither number works.
Your RSS feed listing all live public events:

Your RSS feed listing all live public events organized by Chrysalis:

MemberHi Chrysalis,
If you login to Eventbrite and click on My Events you should see a list of events. If you click on one of those events it will (hopefully) take you to a URL such as:
http://www.eventbrite.com/myevent?eid=1234567890
In the above example 1234567890 would be the event ID. Does that help at all?

MemberUsing the same ID you provided I was able to import the event without any issues (as a confidence check I have included the name of event in a private message, below).
That rather indicates that the problem is specific to your installation … before we go any further can you confirm that you’ve set up your Eventbrite key from within your user profile correctly?

MemberHmm, the bit you added about your key’s expiry date … you’ve got me wondering if perhaps you are confusing your Modern Tribe license key – which you’ll find on this page – with your Eventbrite API key which is quite different and you can normally find by logging into eventbrite.com and navigating to Account > API User Key > Your API User Key.
The reason I’m wondering this is because (as far as I am aware) Eventbrite does not provide an expiry date for its API keys.
If you haven’t already done so, can I ask you to take a look at our New User Primer for Eventbrite and in particular the information in the following section?
Installing & verifying your Eventbrite Tickets license key
Thanks!
