ParticipantSorry it looks very similar to https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/get-invalid-country-code-when-adding-new-event-to-eventbridge-via-wordpress/ – I should have kept it there.
If you need screencast/login/screenshots, just ask, thanks.

MemberHi Tom,
We do not check the forums over the weekend, hence the delay in a response. There’s no need to send a follow-up email as we will see your forum post when we get back to support on the following Monday. Please keep in mind that even during the week, there may be up to 24 hours between responses as we try to get to everyone.
Thank you for your patience,

ParticipantThanks Leah
I appreciate you don’t work weekends but as its nearly 7 days since I first raised this issue I would have hoped that you might have had the chance to find out why I am seeing this error message and what can be done to enable the plugin’s normal working condition.
I remain somewhat impatient as this is holding up the project I am working on 🙁October 4, 2012 at 12:53 pm #26096Barry
MemberHi Tom, Barry from the Community Team here. I wonder if I could get a little more information from you to help me replicate this:
- Are you assigning a pre-existing venue or creating a new venue? What is the full venue address?
- Does this only happen when you take an existing event and try to push the details to Eventbrite, or does it also happen either consistently or sporadically when you create new events and register them with Eventbrite at that point?
Thanks!

I tried creating a new event with a new venue, but get the same error.
If I choose new venue I am limited to UK only.
The same error happens for a variety of UK venues, new or updated.October 4, 2012 at 1:15 pm #26100Barry
MemberThanks Tom – let me see if I can replicate it now.

ParticipantNo worries. Let me know if I can debug or you need to login. Thanks.

MemberOK. So if I use a valid UK address I don’t receive any such problem. Are you able to test this by creating a new event with a US address? It would be interesting to know if this happens for all addresses or just UK addresses on your installation.
I see when you created this ticket that you tried our standard troubleshooting steps; I wonder also if you could provide a WordPress admin login so that I could repeat this and try a few things out for myself?
If that is ok, please provide details to me by emailing [email protected] (mark the email for my attention in the subject field). If you do not wish to do this on a live site, which is understandable, please provide access to a replica/testing/staging site instead.
Thanks!

MemberHi Tom: are we all set here? Just checking in with you as our exchange of emails stopped.

I think it was linked in with something on the eventbrite side, but of course they don’t support 3rd party plugins!
Hope this works out in future as we missed the deadline on the project it was intended for.

MemberI’m sorry to hear that 🙁
Thanks for bearing with us though and for your continued support. At this point I’ll mark this thread as “closed” since we can’t really progress it any further.
