Can something be set up so we can synchronise Facebook Event data when data is changed within the Facebook event?

Hi Mark,

The Facebook Events plugin only does a one-time import. It is not possible to sync the events so you can automatically get changes from Facebook. If you do make a change to the event on Facebook, you could delete the event on WordPress and then re-import it from Facebook. I know that’s not optimal, but it is at least a workaround.

We would like to be able to synchronize events from Facebook, but there may be limitations based on the Facebook API. If you’d like to encourage us to look into adding that feature, you can vote for it on the UserVoice page.

Actually there is no limitations, I have created a program on a Windows platform that will, one at a time, check for changes to events and even alert me when event has cancelled.
I do think the next improvement to your add-on, is to include a refresh event button as deleting re-adding re-editing recategorising is very long and tedious.
Please feel free to add to your voice page, but having seen it, the suggestion will get lost and forgotten.
Considering upgrading to PRO with woocommerce tickets but since our information changes so regularly I may have to consider other options

I’m glad to hear that you were able to work with the API, that’s great. I’ve ticketed this for us to review. Having a Uservoice page for it is one of the best ways to encourage us to add a feature, because we can see the demand from customer’s votes.
