ParticipantIs there any way to get the content that’s sent to Eventbrite to include paragraphs? It looks like the content that is sent isn’t run through wpautop so no paragraphs exist on Eventbrite and as a result the formatting is messed up.

ParticipantHi, timelesstime. I definitely hear your frustration there, and it’s totally justified. Eventbrite’s API is quite restrictive, so we are very limited in what we can do on our end.
That said, this issue is definitely on our radar, and we’re working on a solution. If we can get you a snippet that will resolve it before the fix makes it to our published release, I’ll be in touch.
Thanks for being a TEC user!

ParticipantHi, timelesstime. I just wanted to let you know that we haven’t forgotten about you. We’re looking into a solution, but don’t have one for you yet.
I’ll let you know when we have something for you. Thanks for your patience!

ParticipantHi Kelly,
Thanks for getting back to me. A fix for this would be greatly appreciated as it completely breaks the workflow of using the plugin with EventBrite as editing on EventBrite doesn’t push changes to the WordPress site and changing it on WordPress messes up the formatting on EventBrite.I might be being very naive here, but it seems like the simple fix would be to run the post content through wpautop being sending it to the EventBrite API.

ParticipantHi, timelesstime. Unfortunately, this isn’t something that we can give you a snippet for, but it’s definitely something that will be fixed as soon as it can be rolled into a forthcoming update.
What I suggest you do in the interim is to copy the content of the Eventbrite page before committing the update on your TEC Event on your WordPress site. Then, go back and paste it back to the Eventbrite page and make the changes there. (That’s what I do on my personal site for now, too.)
This is obviously a high-priority bug for us, so it should be rolling out soon!

ParticipantHi, irenicon. It will definitely be included in an upcoming release. Your best bet would be to keep tabs on the release notes. All bug fixes are noted there.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, folks. This is just a quick shout to let you know that we will be rolling out a fix for this issue in our next maintenance release, due out later this week.
If for some reason, you’re still experiencing the issue, please let us know in a new forum thread.
Thanks so much for your patience!
