Event Date is Not Working At All With My Theme

I select a date from the calendar (8/10/2013) and when I save it changes the date to (10/8/2013) and then the date fields are completely blank when I view the record again. I have deactivated my theme and the problem goes away so it is obviously a conflict, but I have no idea how to resolve this issue. I am using the AppThemes “Clipper” theme.

Can you look in Settings > General and see how the Date format is set?

Thanks! I checked and it was set to “August 8, 2013”. I changed it to “8/8/13” (m/d/y) and then created a new event. I selected 8/10/2013 from the calendar picker and then published my event. On page refresh the date was again empty and when I viewed the calendar on my site the event was showing up on 10/8/2013.

And when I click “View Event” in my WP Edit page it says “01/01/1970 @ 12:00 am” there???

I just figured it out!! The theme has a class “datepicker” that is the same name as the plugin was using. I just changed the name and it works fine now. Thanks for your responses I really appreciate it!!
