Event Confirmation

Hi Modern Tribe Team,

I want to know if there is a possibility to confirm attendees with The Events Calendar Pro or with Tickets Plus.
I make the website for the german school in Madrid and they want to offer a system for the yearly Alumni event where all alumni can confirm the assistance.

We have WordPress with last releases of both Events Calendar Pro and Tickets Plus.

Hey Karim and welcome back to the forums!

Yes, that’s totally possible. Each person who purchases a ticket will receive that ticket via email and that email contains a QR code that can be used to scan at the door and that will record the person’s attendance in WordPress.

I mean a system where you go to the events page and register for the event. Confirm your assistance without buying a ticket.

Oh, gotcha. Thanks for clarifying!

I’m afraid that is not a built in feature, but you could possibly disable the ticket with a function — it hooks into wp_mail and could be filtered to not send on purchase. That would give you the ability to collect RSVPs without sending a ticket in the process.

myabe i can create a ticket for 0 €
