Event Category name colors

Hi, I’ve suggest to Andy (author of “The Events Calendar Category Colors” plugin) the following:

Do you reckon it would be possible to reflect the Event Category colors on the Category names when “Event Category” in the Filters Bar is clicked (unfolded) ? This would be a brilliant improvement/adition to your “Category Legend” option as each Category name then would show in its right color. Each category does have a unique ID number – so it should be possible?

Andy’s reply:
Ask Modern Tribe to include a category class tag in the addition to the class unique ID then the colorizing would happen.

Would you do that?

Seems like a good idea – we’ll certainly log this request and see what we can do. Please be aware though that (if we go ahead with this) it won’t make the next release, which is due imminently and is subject to a code freeze.

Hi Barry, Thanks I understand. Hopefully it could make the April update as it is a small addition making huge effect 🙂

We’re planning on doing this for the next version after the one that is currently pending release – that said, realistically this is a lower priority than some other features and bugfixes so we can’t offer any guarantees – but of course will try our best 🙂
